Wow, you know that a huge part of having a fashionable home is to put some lighting in it that is functional but also cool looking. Lamps have to be in the same basic genera so they look good. You don’t want antique lamps with contemporary sofa and chairs. They need to go together, digs? Our quest to make our home cool and livable included finding lamps because my hubby brought with him what I call “goofy guy lamps”! One is a wooden rooster! I mean really! So we have a leather sofa in a very light almost bone white. We are kind of contemporary and I wanted to have Torchieres so I started my online searching for good buys.

There are a lot of places that carry all kinds of lamps and lamp shades but I found a good one at Farrey’s Wholesale Hardware. Even though I wasn’t sure what I wanted I found that they had a good selection at really good prices. I think there are literally hundreds of table lamps and all kinds of brands available. It was really easy to find one I liked because of the pictures that were thumbnails but you could enlarge to get a good look. I found a torchiere I really liked for only $170.00! Nice huh?
