It finally has arrived, the much touted “cash for clunkers stimulus” that President Obama promised kicks in  July 27th. What this does is allow people who have older cars or even newer ones a get low gas mileage. I think it is up to 18 miles per gallon to get a government grant of $3500 up to $4500 toward a new qualifying car. Be sure to tell the dealer you want to work with that program because they know what all the rules are. Some are actually matching the grant, like Chrysler so check it out! This is the first piece of the overall stimulus package that is put in ordinary citizen’s hands so I hope it helps boost our economy.
