Doodling can come to good ends if your professor catches you.  That is what happened to a student attending Luther College in Iowa.  His professor noticed him drawing dresses on his doodles and suggested he attend fashion school.  Scott Nylund never expected it go to anywhere and ten years later he is a fashion design illustrator for the “House of Dereon” line owned by Beyonce Knowles.

Now he is back at home with a showing of his work which includes many of the iconic dresses worn by Beyonce.  One the gold dress she wore for the 2007 American Music Awards.  He also designed the dress she wore to Cannes Film Festival for “Dream Girls”.

Scott is encouraging children to follow their dreams because you never know when you might find happiness and success like a onetime doodler in a classroom.
