I found a fun thing on one of my friend’s site, OpenFashion.com. You can go there and do a fashion poll and post the things you want to get a vote on. You can even upload pictures. To make fashion poll fun you have to find something kooky and put it up there. Ok, not really but you can put up a something like three pair of flip flops you are considering and find out which ones are the coolest really easy. Then you are not wasting your money on flip flops your friends will tease you endlessly over! Ha-ha!

When you are a designer and you want to find out if your designs are going to please the type of audience you are looking for this would be an excellent choice. The site is building up a social network of people who love fashion, who like to blog, shop and vote on polls like the one we are talking about. I could even see a marketing person for a department store who is trying to decide what to carry in a certain line could use an online poll to simulate a target marketing audience. That is much better and lower cost than hanging out in an empty mall with a clipboard and a pen!
