Nisha Kataria was discovered at a state fair in Arizona by Michael Jackson’s manager Dieter Wiesner when he heard Nisha singing a fashionable song in the parking lot. He chased her down and got her information and later collected a CD of her singing. Wiesner presented the CD to Michael who fell in love with her voice and offered to record her. They made a duet together but it was never released. However, Michael was a great mentor for her career and she is enjoying the benefit of that mentorship now.

She remained close to Jackson and he had intended for her to open at his concert in Britain before his untimely death. She has yet to release her CD which at this date is still untitled. Kataria attests to Michael being a normal guy who loved to make people happy and worked hard at it. I am really looking forward to hearing Kataria’s music.
