Toven Specimen

The Toven Specimen is an aluminum penny proposed by the mint for the US Government in 1974. All but two of the coins were returned to the mint when the congress rejected them. A congressional security guard found one on the floor and tried to give it to a congressman. The congressman refused it because congressmen only take Billions of dollars not pennies. So it remained in the Toven Family.
