The Bikini was originally designed by Louis Reard. What a surprise the French coming up with something else risqué? It was an immediate hit just like he had dreamed but he never could have imagined that it has lived on to this day on curvy and not so curvy bodies ever since. It quickly threaded (sorry) its way into Hollywood and actresses continued to make women want to feel liberated by wearing a bikini in public. The original concept remains the same but the models are a lot hotter! How does that happen? Who is sexier? Lola Cowan or Joan Collins (1955)?
