Clarcon Products Endangering Consumers
Clarcon Products are manufactured by a company from Utah that creates products for skin care and sanitizers. The products have been found to contain disease causing bacteria in very high levels. U. S. Marshalls have moved in to shut down the manufacturing facility and test their products. Many of my readers in the fashion world may have these products. The products that have been reported as dangerous are:
1. Citrushield Lotion
2. Dermasentials
3. DermaBarrier
4. Dermassentials by Clarcon
5. Antimicrobial Hand Sanitizer
6. Iron Fist Barrier Hand Treatment
7. Skin Shield Restaurant
8. Skin Shield Industrial
9. Skin Shield Beauty Salon Lotion
10. Total Skin Care Beauty
11. Total Skin Care Work
These products can cause serious skin and tissue damage. The FDA recommends discontinuing use immediately and disposing of them. I recommend placing them in sealable bags and holding them until they can be disposed of in an environmentally safe manner. A list of symptoms are redness and swelling after use and painful skin you should immediately see your physician or go to an emergency room if you have used these products and have the symptoms.

The United States Food and Drug Administration doesn’t mess around. After finding harmful bacteria in hand sanitizers produced by Clarcon, the FDA had Clarcon recall their products. However, after Clarcon failed to agree to quickly destroy their products, the FDA put the U.S. Marshals on the case.
