John Hughes Dies

John Hughes a legend in the teen film formula by creating such classic films as “The Breakfast Club” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. His style and ability to create dialog that was comedic yet gave his actors credibility with the audience has been the grail of the teen film industry ever since. Hughes sense of what was fashionable and interesting to his audience led to multiple films that were box office successes all through the 1980s. He slowed down a bit in the 1990s and became a little reclusive while residing in Chicago. He only did three movies for the Disney label and two of them were successful. John Hughes succumbed to a heart attack while visiting family in New York.

John, thank you for your genius and the hilarious entertainment you created for us.
