We all recognize New York as the place to be for designing and production of top level fashion. No place in the world has the venues, the designers or the opportunities. One big problem in New York though is one of the top cities in another category and that is most expensive place to live. There you are in the “Big Apple” and you need to work a sideline job to make ends meet while you work on your break.

Many people take on roommates and that is ok when you find the right person but a lot of low cost apartments and flats are for singles not roommates. There is one thing you can do and that is put in Pressurized Walls. I had not heard of these until recently but a company in New York came up with this concept and it is saving thousands of people money. They actually put a wall to divide a room and it is held in place by pressure points not anchors or bolts. I can guarantee you that 99 1/2% of landlords are not going to let you put up any divider other than a pressurized wall. It takes just one day to complete it through painting to match and tada you have two rooms. Sound advice for the aspiring model/designer/actor/director!
