The fashion challenged, unemployed chicken catcher from Kentucky won Americas heart with his gravely voice and thick country accent. They laughed at him when he first came on stage for his audition and passed him to the next round as more of a foil to the judges. What they couldn’t know that America is made up of a whole lot of Kevin Skinners, down on their luck kicked in the teeth but still waiting for their chance.
